Functional Strength Certification
In this course, you will gain in-depth knowledge of what has been called the yogic “powerhouse” core of the physical body, including the skeletal, muscular, energetic, and subtle anatomy of the pelvis, abdominals, spine, and shoulders. This comprehensive course includes the study and implementation of specific biomechanical balancing exercises that are present in classic hatha yoga.
You will achieve the ability to deliver a program for individuals or groups, that addresses the development of each student's breathing, focus, and physical and energetic wellness, through the practice of asanas integrated with the other seven limbs of raja yoga. Gain confidence working intimately with individuals through therapeutic relationship development in the realm of physical assists, personalized education, and program design. Specifically accommodate for common concerns and diseases such as pelvic floor and abdominal weakness, postural imbalances, and disc issues.
