ABOUT Joy

I've learned a lot along the way.

I've learned how to be still and listen to the waves, the wind, and the quiet wisdom of the natural world. I've learned how to find friendship in a tree, a bird, or a bug just as profoundly as in another human being.

My favorite moments are often spent alone in nature—walking a trail, sitting by the water, or watching the light move through the trees. And when I return to people, I love gathering together to sing, dance, wander, walk, laugh, learn, and share stories.

I am fascinated by what is real.

I enjoy finding the places where we agree, and the places where we don't. I am interested in the conversations that help us understand one another more fully. I believe we can hold different perspectives and still remain connected through respect, curiosity, and care.

Throughout my life, I have been drawn to creating spaces where people feel welcome, seen, and encouraged to be themselves. I love witnessing a smile, a tear, a breakthrough, a deep breath, a moment of courage, or a spark of inspiration.

I am curious.

I am a lifelong student of what it means to be fully alive, fully present, and fully human.

Ā I am grateful you are here.Ā  I'd love to learn more about you!
